Many of you will recognize the Heron Rising guest house as the well loved Leaven Center Guest House. Indeed, for ten years, from 1998 until July 2008 it was operated by our next-door neighbor The Leaven Center. We encourage you to learn more about their wonderful programming.

We are pleased that Leaven will continue to use the guest house for participant lodging during Leaven events, and that it will also be available to groups that rent The Leaven Center for their own programming. Yet, we are also excited to announce its new identity as Heron Rising, owned and operated by Melanie Morrison and April Allison.

As we enter this new era, we remain committed to the work of personal and social transformation. We desire that use of the Guest House be accessible, both physically and financially, and wish to provide a welcoming space for all. The main floor of the guest house is barrier free, with a roll-in shower. If the rental rate is beyond your current means, please contact us to make arrangements.
