Imagine a beautiful, secluded spot where you can center yourself and find renewal of body, mind, and spirit. A cozy yet spacious guest house where you may rest, read, or write, and 20 acres of land where you can wander through woods and fields of wild flowers or alongside the Grand River.
As you explore the land, you may encounter white-tailed deer munching on the sumac trees or spot a hawk as she soars on the wind. Depending on the season, you will hear the songs of cardinals, bluebirds, mourning doves, woodpeckers, and rose-breasted grosbeaks.
When you come to a bench in the orchard you can rest, looking out over farmland, stretching to the horizon. By a spring-fed spring you can pause to listen to water tumbling over moss-covered rocks.
If it is solitude you seek, the Guest House can be all yours for an individual retreat. Should you wish to bring companions, the two bedrooms can sleep up to five people comfortably.
You are welcome to enjoy Heron Rising on a self-directed retreat or you may request a meeting with one of the Heron Rising staff who are trained in spiritual direction.
If your spirit longs for rejuvenation, deeper connection, and the nurture of a beautiful natural setting, the Heron Rising Guest House in mid-Michigan is awaiting your arrival. |
